Host City

Trondheim is a 1000-year old city built next to the Nidelven river, with historic sites such as the Nidarosdomen, a gothic cathedral and shrine of St. Olav. It features many festivals, restaurants and shops to meet all interests. Trondheim has many Museums one can choose from, as the NTNU Museum with archaeological and natural science exhibitions, or Ringve Museum and Rockheim, both dedicated to music, and the Art Museum.

Trondheim has many beautiful spots to walk through, as the old town bridge with the neighborhood called Bakklandet which preserves the atmosphere of the old town with the wooden houses, filled today with picturesque cafes and restaurants. The city has a vibrant cultural life and the 30 000 students of NTNU contribute to it becoming one of the most charming and exciting cities of Norway.
